new battery;sparkplugs;carb holders;updated vr;updated fuel pump and filter; carbs rebuilt and clear.
When all this was finished the new carb holders solved revving problem and started first attempt and ran like a champ, shut down after warm up and on second attempt no start except when gas is poured in carb. fuel pump still checks good and are clear. At a loss why it won't start seems fuel won't run through carbs any help appreciated

Backwards fuel filter, kinked line, plugged breather in gas cap, dirty petcock screen, bad fuel pump relay.
96 fzr600. R1 body kit.
94 xj600 seca 2: complete upgrade restoration.
