So...
Back again for more help!
I have street fightered my Fzr 400 genesis with after market clocks and
They seem to keep misting up! Rev counter is fine (but it's a sepereate unit)
The speedo misted up a few days ago so I dried it out with a hair dryer and today
It has returned!!!
A few people said to me I should dry it out and reseal it...
Another friend said to drill a tiny little hole somewhere to let the air circulate...
Do I seal it? Or do I put a hole in? If I put a hole in where do I put it?
Same as eBay.co.uk item number 350323987289
Thanks!

Re: Misty speedo???
I would take it off, leave it indoors for a few days to dry out properly, then reseal it. How much can it be taken apart????

It can't, it's a sealed unit only thing that comes off is the cable and bracket...

the reason it mists up is that it is damp inside in a virtually sealed mini-weather system. Taking it indoors could make it worse houses are heated and damp (cooking, clothes/ dish washer blah blah blah ) so the idea is dry heat to get rid of any moisture.
If it is possible to to Dremel out of sight and in a position where the rain when on the bike will not be forced into the system cut a small slot get a small bag of moisture wick (well dried in an oven. )pop that in the bottom of the mechanism and seal the hole with aquarium glue (or automotive equivalent).
Does this work well old Brit bikes in the tropics suffered with this issue and it was cured as i said so yes it should just work carefully.

the party season is getting to you LoL he did say this was an after market version see E bay 350323987289
Which is a bit like mine I binned the crap tab http://www.saltmine.org.uk/kgb/yp5.html as to how I mounted mine.
It is sealed BUT mine had a bulb hole that went into the main body so may be just may be you could use that to insert the moisture bag for a couple of days (gaffer tape the the bulb holder closed while the bag is at work
