Confused on FZR600 Oil Capacity?

Hi I was looking at the manual and im confused on the oil capacity for my bike

Its says this

Engine Oil Capacity:
Engine Oil:
Periodic Oil change: 2.3 qts
With Oil Filter Replacemant 2.6 qts
Total amount 3.2 qts

So when changeing my oil Should I fill it with 2.3 qts or 3.2 qts?

I always read this as :-
no oil filter being changed you would need only 2.3Qts

BUT in TOTAL the engine has 3.2 Qts in it ie the oil passages & filter hold the difference in this case 0.9Qts.

this balance is reduced to 0.6QTs if you change filter.

In practical terms I always top up to either 2.3 or 2.6 then start the engine and let it warm up again (oil changes I tend to do with warmed engines any way ) then I get the bike upright & check my sight glass on the crank case and add oil to suit at that point.
