New Route

ALright guys I've posted several post last week deeling with front brake issues and the steering stem.......I may be goin a whole different route on this situation. I just contacted and looked at some front forks that arent leeking and are equiped with Works Racing Springs and are complete with the forks, wheel and new micheline tire, and R6 BLUE DOTS for a decent price i believe. He's asking $200 for everything.

Question i have is are the forks with the race springs a good idea for a bike that is just driven around town and for some fun on weekends? Its not a race bike by any means but anything to help performance i'm all into it....

(FYI my fork seals are leaking and calipers are locking up and there is to much pitting and corrosion on the piston....THats the reason why i'm lookin at all this)
