I've wanted to know what was inside the Main Relay for sometime, I got lucky. I bought a Job Lot of FZR600 parts, the wiring loom/harness was off a 94 Fox Eye. The Main Relays Part No was the exact same as my 92, so I turned my attention to the YZF diagram, studied the FZR diagram & the Haynes Manual diagram (anyone ever looked @ that? it's a pain). The wiring (did not match on either digram) much
I then started on my bike, I think I've got it this time. I cut the Main relay out of the YZF diagram, Then changed the wire colours to match the FZR. The prong that is not used can be used to test the Low Fuel Warning Lamp circuit if a YZF tank is fitted (same as the Oil Lamp illuminates when the Start Button is pressed) Thought I'd share.
