I recently bought a 1988 FZR100 that hadn't run in about two years. I'm in the process of taking care of a few odds and ends to get it working properly. The petcock under the gas tank (not the one by the choke) needs to be rebuilt (the rubber disc which goes in between the housing and the part that rotates is in pretty poor condition). Does anyone know where I can find a petcock rebuild kit? The Yamaha parts diagram doesn't show that part a being available separately. I found I kit I think will work (although I'm not sure) but the company selling it is in Europe. I'm in the States, so I'd prefer to find something here (don't feel like waiting several weeks for shipping). The kit that may work is a Tourmax FCK-22, but I haven't been able to find much/any information on Tourmax.
Any help is much appreciated!

Quick google search turned up this:
http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/petcock_rebuild.htm
18.95 for the fzr600.
At that price why not just get a new petcock for 10 dollars more?

Olie05, thanks for the info.
That one's not listed as fitting the FZR1000 and I don't think it does. The dial seal on mine has four holes around the perimeter and one in the middle. (At least I think it does; it was pretty annihilated by the time I got it out of the housing.) The one for the FZR600 on that site has three holes.

I think K&L Supply has a dial seal that may work. It's K&L part number 18-6644, it's 22.60mm. x 2.39mm. and replaces Yamaha p/n 3H3-24523-00-00. Since Yamaha doesn't list the p/n on the diagram , I'm not sure yet if it'll work.
