Ok, I have gotten really good help here. Here is another one for you guys.
I recently installed a 12 volt socket into my bike. I dont have a meter to measure the volts but I noticed that when im driving the radar will say "low voltage"
I have it really dim, the reason why I ask is because if Im driving at low rpms, its fine. But as soon as I am in the high revs after a few minutes I get that message. Kinda like if the battery starts to get discharged. Is this caused by the voltage regular?(which was recently replaced) or the alternator?
Im afraid to stay stranded in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery.
Possible alternator issue?

Re: Possible alternator issue?
Interesting, this bike seems to already have the voltage regulator conversion. Bike off, 12 volts. Ill test with bike on and without vr and post results.
