Fuel Pump

Post by AraiPnai »

So this is the main thing I have to get changed on my bike. Anyone have any recommendations where I should go to get it the best/cheapest? Or is like $292.99 really normal?

screw that! i'd look for a good condition used one. or improvise with one that will fit and rewire it. these bikes are too old to warrant buying new parts in my opinion. with all the transmission stuff i'm gonna have to replace i'd spend close to a grand, if not more. its really not worth it for a $1300 bike :-D

I'm in the SF Peninsula area.

It's a good thing I asked ya'll first cuz I was starting to kiss my summer good bye after I found out how much it cost. So how can I tell if what I find on ebay and what not is a good part?

Man still shocked at the price of the new part. Hahaha. (Obvious yet that I've never shopped around for my own crap like this? Haha.. >.< FTL )

By the way - does it matter what year it's for?

nope

as long as it came from a carb'd bike you should be able to make it work with out much more effort than redoing the wires to fit teh FZR harness.
