I read in a magasine once,that it looked like an explosion in a mecano-factory. HAHA Cool bike thou

Unfortunately it is such magazine hacks who keep biking in the dark ages as far as suspension & handling are concerned, they poison the market.
Buell got ridiculed for his "off market" looks but those of us brave enough to raise a middle finger to "marketing hype" realise very quickly his designs work & work very well.
With Tele forks we all try to dial out sudden front end dips, and back end squat as being detrimental to our handling (translate as race lap times) yet when a bike that get rid of those by design, not mere tinkering, it gets the thumbs down by some un-educated follower of fashion masquerading as motorcycle riding expert and the big 4 want their market share so they follow the hack so they will not suffer from the poisoning of the market.

I know where your coming from there George.
A very similar design came about in mountain biking,a fella called john white(IIRR)designed it.Marin(big USA firm)would only use the bike design and not the forks,so he produced it himself,by starting his own(white bikes)firm.The big firms just stuck to the other big firms telescopic forks.
They said this design(all who rode it)was much better,as it was linear in the first part of the stroke,then got much more progressive as it went into its travel.On a push bikes that weighs 25ish lbs,that is perfect.But the big firms attacked it from everywhere-unreliable,heavy,ugly the lot.
You watch,20yrs time and it will be standard on most bikes.There are people out there that would still have us believe the earth is flat-if it makes them more money.

I nominate this for Quote of the Year.Everybody will be able to ride it without killing themselves.
Otherwise, very cool design. I'm workin' through Foale's book on chassis design now, and it is very interesting to see how certain things changed, like bigger and bigger engines, but other components evolved much slower, such as suspension, etc.

OHH no not in a bad way. They toke it for a test ride,and said that it was brilliant. I just thougth that it was funny. You are right that things stays the same as long as we are not willing to see past what we are used to. Bloody shame. The latest marketing BS is about the "big piston forks" This may be an improvement but it is still the same concept,as the forks on my 18 years old bike. Big or small pistons the basic design is the same,with the same basic problems as any other tele-forks on any bike.
So here we have a bike with a "funny" front end,and it is NOT a overweight BMW. This can only be a good thing.
