Perma Poxy
I just went to advanced auto and bought some Perma Poxy 5 min plastic weld and i have to say so far it is amazing it was easy to get on and it seems to be very strong!
Re: Perma Poxy
Are you using it for body work/plastics?
I have been trying to find a retailer (besides online) of Plastex, which (as you can see here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=209&start=0&hilit=plastex) is great for plastic work.
Only problem is I can't find it anywhere.

The Plastex is nice, but I don't know of any retailers that carry it. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for large holes. It is decent for small repairs only.

as FartBlood will tell you (web page as well) you can use Plastex for biggish holes (about 1sq Inch) just a bit expensive. All I did was tape the hole with selotape (parcel tape ) and sprinkled the powder on it then add the liquid then more powder liquid until I was happy it was thick enough. 24 Hrs later removed the tape (the liquid cuts the adhesive ) used abit of knifing putty and painted.
I too have never seen Plastex advertised except on the internet, I have never heard of Perma Poxy .... more details pics of it in use would be nice :-}
