Wow...thanks. Can't say that I know all but I try to stay informed.cecorri wrote:Sweekster is the man on this forum....he knows all....
That is 18mm LONG reach socket, the short reach depending on make can slip !sweekster wrote:Fairings have to come off and the radiator moved out of the way. If the plugs in there are NGK you'll need an 18mm socket as they are too big for a standard spark plug socket.
Soaringman wrote:Thanks guys, I kinda figured two coils, two cylinders each.
I did a have a stuck float on a couple of occasions, gas pouring out. I thought maybe it was stuck closed this time so no gas traveling threw it at all. So I cleaned that float. Wasent the one in front of the missing cylinder but I will clean that one tonight.
So tonight I will check lead, clean float
Do the leads just pull off the coil ?
I was pulling pritty hard on them
Thanks for your replies
Hi,Soaringman wrote:So I opened the carb adjasent to the missing cylinder and behold a jet lying in the float bowl.
A jet had worked itself loose and fallen out. put it back in , So now she's running like a charm .
Thanks for everybodies help.
