My wheel color choice... whatdaya think??

So the original plan was to go all black with the bike, mat black frame and swing, and gloss black wheels......

WELL, things changed today . I want to be a little original as i have seen many all black bikes lately.
So I've always had a thing for bronze wheels on a car....especially a black car..

So it took FOREVER picking out a paint choice, and i think we finally got one..
These are from my phone cam, but they are much darker than it looks...I'll take some
with my good camera tomorrow.
it's sooo nice how the YZF rim matches the FZR

So let me get this straight....Everything else is gonna remain black and the wheels are gonna be gold? Good choice. I can dig it. Should look good when done.

I think its a cool color and could look good, but I wont be sold until I see them on the bike.

Are the a flat finish or are the glossy and its just a bad pic? i think a light gloss on them would look good, heavy gloss, not so much.

It's done right. It's a STAGE 1 paint with reducer and hardener. VERY LIGHT gloss, almost Mat. Done with a REAL gun, not rattle can. I used a whole 1/2 pint, and that lasted about 4 coats.

Remember, these are the same wheels I sandblasted and primed with self etching primer, so the paint isn't going anywhere.

I think i'm gonna hit it with some 2000 grit just take the rough feel off.

Gonna go get some better pictures now...

copper decals? bar ends? stay/birdcage mirrior bracket?

Maybe the rear sets and the levers. TK can powder coat them.

so what brand paint did you end up going with for the wheels and the frame. what was the price like. im having a hard time finding some good paint that is afforadable. dont wanna spray some crap that will have to be redone.
