What Color?

Post by slayermd »

Looking for a cool color design for the upper fairing. My idea is just a coat of red like the tail, but that's just boring.
Here is a pic. And I wont be doing the lower fairing, so just ignore that....

You have no idea how bad I wanted the '96 paint scheme of my old FZR.

Im not much of a painter and its going to be a rattle can job. I painted it already and its nothing special. I'll post pics up tomorrow morning.

Well, that kind of painting it's a trouble, but it's something i can make it quite easy. It's too bad i'm far away from you slayer. I could helped you a lot! But just to know, much of the paintwork it's stickers (like the fzr logo). You have to do a lot of work, but it's worthin. Also one of my favorite paintworks

Why paint it when all the decals that come with new speed parts work just as good?

Chris,
Yer the blue & white always looks clean BUT I do not like the CF look makes it drab & "dirty"
Have you seen my Christian Sarron rep RD:-

That I could ride for weeks before it looked "soiled" and once washed looked amazing

I'm jealous about your bike George. Well, i'll make on these colours my fzr750. I finally bought fairings from r6 '03. Waiting an r6 '08 tail and then everything is going for paintwork.
