I'll pass on that. $90 can be much better spent on some good pads or braided lines.

Mega,
new pads & braided lines as you say are a must BUT they do make the braking for the un-practised a very dangerous emergency stop, yes you could spend 90+ on track days learning the art of disaster recovery on emergency braking but the idea of this gadget is well founded.

On bikes i serviced for those I considered novices I always left a tiny amount of air in the system just to give them an added "feel", my own brother always complains on my bike the spongey brakes and yet I can still do stoppies

From the review though it seems as though it didn't really do anything. This cannot replace practice and expirience. Use the money to take motorcycle safety course if it's not offered for free.
