From what I can make out; it is a 1986/87 Genesis.
This was the first FZR 400.
It should have different forks.
The originals were 38mm dia but only 2 piston calipers
It looks like yours are still 38mm (the bars above the top yoke are the indication) but have spacing for the 4 pot calipers
(100mm bolt centers)
This is a good upgrade; it means blue spot calipers can be fitted if you wished.
The s/a looks to be off a 1989 3EN2.
The wheel is probably still 18".

Don't worry ; all FZR 400s have only 1WG as an engine number in UK,
You will struggle to obtain replacement Genesis fairings; most use the much cheaper and easier obtained FZR 600 3HE
pattern ones on a Genesis.
The rear seat panel is still easy and cheap to source s/h.
They are a nice bike when they are in good condition.
