Does anyone know anything about cdi boxes?Please help

Does anyone know anything about cdi boxes?I am going to have to buy another cdi box.Does anyone know if a 400 Fzr box will fit a 600 fzr I have a 600 fzr .Also why do some of the boxes have a plug with wires coming out of the cdi and some don't mine doesnt have a plug with wires coming out of it. just two plug ins that you plug a plug with wires into it.thanks any info or help would be appreciate. I have a post from yesterday top if any one wants to check it out .any info on that would be appreciated as well thanks

[Ob pedantic] The ignitor box on the FZR is a TCI, not a CDI - *very* different beast. [/pedantic]

Depending on what model of 600 and what model of 400, the 400 CAN be used, but you risk blowing your engine - the redline on the 400 is MUCH higher than the 600.

I read and posted an answer in your other thread; what do you think is wrong with your TCI? Depending on what the problem is, I might be able to repair it for you.
