Nor cal fzr 600 fork aliment problem

Ok maybe some one can help me here my friend just got forks put on his bike ( my old forks good not bent or anything) so we put them on an they dont seem to line up right on the top of the triple tree you can see in the pic there is a gap bigger on one side then the other so it turns better one way then the other an I dont know why? i am have the same probem with this r6 front end I put on my bike as well so lets see if some one can help thanks

I don't have much to say except you can't judge straightness of a bike based on parts relation to bodywork. I'm sure somebody with helpful advice will be along shortly.
