hi thanks for any help in advance, im new to bikes, and ive always wanted a fzr 600 since i was a kid. im so happy and proud to own one. its a 97 with 23k. anywho. i bought bike no issues, rode bike one day, came back, bike started, i sat on bike, backed it out n it cut off, wouldnt start back up, figured was battery so i charged battery, then same thing happened, was told to order 128.00 voltage regulator, two weeks later charge battery install new voltage regulator and i notice when i put key in two yellow lights on front of bike light up but no neutral light, so i gently shook bike from side to side n green neutral light lit up, i started bike, let idle, all is fine, then i sa on bike, slowly backed it up not hitting gas or breaks just or anything and bike cuts off and green neutral light isnt there etc.... im thinking theres a wire connection messed up somewhere, or blown fuse, or maybe old aftermarket alarm i dont know about, please help!! im taking course to get motorcycle license tommorow, i have inspection schedueled for monday, help
thank you
brian

Re: ELECTRICAL ISSUE PLEASE HELP
Check the big wire bundle that exits the frame near the front and heads off to gauges, ignition switch, and headlights.
There are a couple of junction blocks there that are corrosion prone, as well as a couple of chafe points in that harness. The handlebar switches are also corrosion prone.
I believe you have a broken wire, or are shorting to ground
