Front indicator removal?

Post by Rob1969in »

Hello all .

This may well sound like a pathetic question but I'm a mechanical numpty I have bought a new top fairing and having removed the old one, I now need to attach the new one ,the old one had the indicator holes broken so it didn't matter when removing it that the indicators were on but the new fairing has the holes for them and I want to please know how to remove the indicators so that I can put the new fairing on, do they just twist off?

Any help would be much appreciated , many thanks ,

Hello there.

I mean the indicator stalks that poke out the fairing I'm unable to put new fairing on the bike as the holes in the fairings won't allow me too, I was wondering if it's possible to twist them off or something without having to completely remove the bracket from the frame?

Thanks

There is a nut tucked into the 'formed' side of the bracket.
