660 Mod?
So, I'm back. Had some life stuff to sort out, etc, etc. I'm digging the 660 idea and I was wondering if you guys could just throw the list of parts at me (off the top of your head if you know it); I'm short on downtime since I work 70+ hours as an emt, so it's kinda hard to sort through the threads. I'm gonna have some one work on her since I don't have the time atm (I know it's a sin, and I'm ashamed ]

Re: 660 Mod?
ThatKId is currently selling some 660 parts, he might even have all the parts. I'm not entirely sure. Give him a PM.

Re: 660 Mod?
Yzf cylinder jugs, yzf pistons and rods, yzf coolant tubes, 3mm base gasket, yzf head gasket. You can use fzr rods so you don't have to use the 3mm base gasket, but you have to use a rod hone for the yzf piston pin to fit the fzr rod.

I used FZR (3he) bottom end, head, carbs, and coolant tubes(no re-routing necessary) - YZF (4tv) cylinders/pistons/rings/base gasket and head gasket.
I used the FZR rods machined to fit the YZF piston pins (any decent auto machine shop will have a rod hone-and will have used it enough to be good at it).

reelrazor how is yours holding up. I've been researching the hell out of this mod and want to do it, but I want to know will it last.
Re: 660 Mod?
A fellow over at the Archives has fabbed mounting plates to use instead of the cradle downtubes; note that this requires the use of the YZF head.

I have 3500 miles on mine at this time. Mind you, NONE of those miles were easy riding.

I have everything for the swap minus the gaskets, which are the cheap part.
