FZR400 Race/track bike and lots of parts $1000

Post by Race549 »

REVISED POST. DROPPED PRICE TO $1000.

I am selling my 1988 FZR400. I bought this bike about three years ago. I raced it in the Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (near Los Angeles). The bike has had a long racing history there with two previous owners. As far as FZRs go, it is a very solid bike. Unfortunately towards the end of the season I had a crash. I put the bike back together (about 70% there) after replacing the frame, but due to finances I cannot afford racing anymore. I need to sell it asap because I also need to move out of my shop and thin out the # of bikes.

All it needs to get back on the track is to have the tank, air box, cables, breaks, fairings put together, and all the electrical plugged in. A little bit of TLC to make sure everything is bolted back together and it is ready to go.

Engine ran after the crash. It is a great performing motor. Not sure what kind of mods, it looks like it has at list ported heads and a hotter cam. Did 1:35s laps at Willow Springs big track (3.1mi), and was always in the top 3 finishers in my class.

Forks are 90's, with race tech springs and gold valves, recently rebuilt after the crash.
Rear ohlin shock
delta box swing arm
Bike also comes with:
extra wheels for slicks and DOT tires change (the front one as a little damage but can be repaired)
Two sets of D&D headers
One yoshi can
one D&G can (scratched up)
rear sets
two motors in parts
another fzr600 motor parted out (+ a bunch of other 600 parts)
multiple sets of forks
7 boxes of parts + two milk crates of engine parts
Second set of carbs
2 sets of racing fairings. one perfect but needs paint job (unless you like yellow and purple flames), the other was in the crash but can be fixed with some fiber glass work.

Basically I have everything you could want to go racing. and so many parts I can't even begin to list them all. Please contact me if interested, I am located in Los Angeles, CA. Asking $1,000. I am selling everything together, I don't have the time to part out.
