thanks. i am glad i went with gold 2006 636 forks over the limited edition silver ones. i am going to put an order in for bearings on friday after i get paid thursday! so by mid july this stuff should be on my fzr for a test fit and ride until the end of the season when ill take it all back off and paint the frame and swimgarm, and do tank and tail swap.

found a 04 636 seat lock assy...its taken 6 months to score this....new everything was about $100..i scored it for $10!

I have had 3 wives, lost track along time ago about GF's but they all suited the time & the place.
Right now i cannot think of a better lady to be with than my wife so some last longer than others this one has done just fine for 28 years since the day we met.

no new pics yet. i am still sanding my upper where i filled in the light hole and small one above the light hole....plastex takes hours to sand smooth by hand...but its turning out perfect! try to get a pic of it finished in a week or 2.

yeah it was a deal at 19.99 but i offered 10 so i got a smoking deal. i think a key will cost more to get made then the seat lock assy. either way i needed this for my tail to be fully functional.

took the front end off last night, pics tomorrow of ripping it appart finaly

pics tonight of the front and rear end on....sorry i am late. i ran into some major issues with swaping the yzf600r swingarm on the fzr...its so simple but causes so many problems.

-foot pegs rub still after shaved down .500" (fixed by making .250" spacer places)
-need longer foot peg bolts if using .250" spacers or counterbore foot peg mouting holes .250" deeper
-heal guards hits (fix by machined down 1.5" from outside angle's edge)
-V&H muffler is dam close to swingarm linkage and muffler hits the yzf600r swingarm (fix by either custom exhaust or turning the bike until it does not hit and benting the mounting bracket to line up with the foot peg mount)
-02 R6 wheel centered in yzf600r swingarm does not line up with the 03-06 zx6r front sprocket (it will if you use a yzf600r motor and use that 636 sprocket) (fix by machine down the R6 crush drive/sprocket carrior what ever the thickness of a 520 pitch sprocket is, lucky i was only off the width of a sprocket!)
-rear brake electroinc sencor mounting bracket hit yzf600 swingarm (fix i bent it over out of the way but thas not a real fix)

looking for info on how people have fixed that issue correctly? china_racers rearsets?
