If we're talking along the lines of a cruiser, I'd say not just a traction system or engine system but a whole bike system. With the flip of a switch, giving the engine a more laid back, easier to control feel with a smoothed out powerband and great fuel economy. Then flip a switch to "sport mode" and the ignition is advanced, the rear wheel cushioning is off, fuel map is richer, and I'm on a raw, brute force torque monster.zero9243 wrote:What would you guys look for in a new system. It can be anything. What would you like to see out of a new application as a rider?
Along those lines, some bikes have traction control adjustments on the fly and even some Volvo's have their ECU's, transmission controls, and traction control all run together into one system (I do believe it's the 850 or 950 that has the overly simplified "economy, wet weather, performance" buttons on the console).
If we're talking motorcycles in general, I'd love to see a universal carb to EFI retrofit system available for motorcycles, much like the Holley Commander EFI conversion systems for older cars. Think of the perform.....uh, I mean fuel mileage (
