Well it still runs.... and have been getting things ready to pull the head off, new gasket, tune the carbs, and maybe more depending on time.

Work has been hectic though so we'll see WHEN I can do all this. I was shooting all weekend 5am-10pm in El Toro and Willow Springs, and in about a week and half Im probably being sent to Norway/Finland.

when i started reading this it made me think of the trouble i went through with my 95 fzr 600. if i would have seen it a while back ago i would have posted on it. i have had the bike for about a year or so when i got it the i could tell the battery was old. but it held a charge and started every time. after about 7 months or so of riding to and from work every day and a couple of long rides. i noticed that at night my head lights would go from bright to barely on to bright again. thinking it was the VR i replaced it with one from an R6...still same issue. i then went to my battery it wasn't maintaining a charge anymore. even while i was riding it was causing my charging system to work extra hard because it was pretty much dead. i went to Kingsbay Honda in saint marys, ga and got a brand new battery which took 3 days to come in. they told me they filled it up and charged it for me. i took their word on it because i have dealt with them for the last 3 years working at the base up there and working on Honda boat motors they are the closest dealer for any specialty parts so why would they get something as simple as a battery wrong. well it was all good for about a month to a month and a half then it would get to where i could go on a 100 mile ride where my batter should be fully charged i get to where i am going kill the bike it would fire right up but if i was there more than 30 minutes it was dead. finally got it home and the father in law and i started looking it over as he is trying to convince me to get a Harley we discover that one of my cells is completely empty. take it to them they replace the batter with a brand new one and 6 months later no issues.
