Where to drill on YZF motor for Speed sensor?

well, drilled it...fooked up. drilled about 1/8" to far to the right and down...I think its a shift fork that im looking at.
my sensor is about a half inch to long. so gotta make a weird shapped spacer that will point the sensor up a bit to miss the shift fork and so it doesnt hit.
anyone know how close the sensor has to be to the gear?

I have an extra cut washer template you can have machinist make an aluminum version of, I will send you, if you promise to mail it back. It has the outside dims, you just have to have the machinist make the center hole to match your sensor, and it will save you from tiring to figure it out.

yea, but, i dont need a washer, its more of a spacer because I need about a half inch of something added inbetween the sensor mount and case

Wow a half inch? the plate, at least my plate does not set flat against the case.

yea, just about a half inch but its not going to be even because i gotta angle the sensor up. so its going to be 1/2" on one side, and like 1/4" on the other

did you ever find a pic of where to dril the hole if not why dont you throw one up so we know where its supposed to go
