I had forgotten the weld on missing tooth reading that was required glad someone has at last decided to use the standard rotor as most carbed bikes had that (honda/ suzuki/ Kawa etc )

hey its steve i sold u a genisis motor just figured i tell u the 02 03 r-1 tail swap ist to bad i had to do some cutting to my frame and weld two mounting plates on but it only too me a day i get some pics to u hope u can tig weld !

If you enjoy the wire feeding welders feel, then you may want to cut up the bike and do the R1 06 tail swap. Most would agree that Yamahas best work on the tail is fro the 04-06 R1 tails.

when doing the yzf tank swap which fuel pump do you use? I thought the yzf has an in tank pump and i know my 90 fzr1k has an extrernal pump

It depends which year of YZF600 you're talking about. The 95-96 ("Foxeye") had the same in-tank pump as the YZF750; the 97+ ("Thundercat") had an external pump.

would you use the 600 pump or the 1000 pump ?
