forks are mounted(still need upper triple and clip ons) need bolts for brakes, will have pics soon.

well a small update. haven't gotten much accomplished due to being physically and mentally exhausted from work, holidays, and the weather. so heres some crappy cell phone pics

Its an actual update! Wow! Good job dude. Are you planning on having it done by summer? If so, we gotta hit up the track with out sweet fizzer's!

04-06 r1 front?
07 r6 swinger?

make sure you raise the front...the top of the forks should be fluch with the top tree.
the bar clamps go under the tree....

04 r6 swinger and its not going to get raised much, i"ll need it to turn as quick as possible.

How did you mount the forks? Did you have mod king make you something or did you go with the threaded rod.

Also, you mounted the swinger without the engine in? How do you know the chain alignment is good?

Explain some in detail for us!

I just mean that the usd forks are about 3" shorter than the stock fzr forks...

if you lower then to much then your front wheel will hit the headers...

welll...I guess youll be tweaking it once everythings together...lol

to mount the forks i welded more material to the fzr steering stem, then had it machined down and pressed into the yzf triples. and then made a spacer for the top triple clamp. i mounted the swinger without the engine in and made the rear tire centered to the chassis, if i have to i can have the sprocket carrier milled down to alight the chain.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe you will get lucky and not have to machine down the sprocket hub. If so, its easy enough. :headbang:
