1,500 lbs Motorcycle Lift/Dolly/Stand

This is a general question for all sportbikes really. Does anyone have experience with this jack/lifts? There are many brands out there that have slight variation of basically the same thing.



The exhaust will be where most sportbikes will be lifted. Would this be bad? I know initial reaction is to avoid, but would be great if my FZR or GSXR can sit on this. Thanks everyone.

Probably work fine. Just add some 2x4's so they sit along the frame rails of the FZR and help clear the exhaust.

I have one for my Suzuki Boulevard. Probably overkill for the FZR... I would prefer Pitbull-type (front/rear) stands for a sportbike though.

I have front and rear stand. I want it for the dolley/mobility after the bike is up.Single garage so can't afford to have the bike sitting in one spot and blocking off access to areas.

I've lifted engines on one of those type, I don't see why it wouldn't work with a bike. Make sure the floor is flat and smooth though otherwise the casters will catch. use some ratchet straps to hold the bike

My garage is a bit slopped. Will probably stick would under to avoid exhaust.

used a similar brand/type with an old FZR 600 a few times

will work just fine

Did you use wood to prop it under or sit the bike right on the exhaust?

Throw a 2X4 in under the exhaust

but i preferred to just slip off the whole exhaust system -just depended on how lazy i was feeling
