I am a short guy and new to here (so HI. ) want to lower my 1989 FZR600R and not finding parts on here like I use too own one. Will this lower a 1989 and by how much? Thanks and sorry for any stupid questions.
I am older now and still tip toed on this thing think I shrank???
Looking for any other parts too This FZR600 is a project bike and needs alot of TLC

About an hour of work and the benefit of having 20+ years of suspension technology improvement now under your bike. You'd have preload, hi/low speed compression and rebound settings. Basically your bike will feel like a whole new bike underneath you.
Install is basically something like this:
Loosen top and bottom shock bolts.
Loosen dogbone bolts.
begin to lift bike from under engine area until suspension is unloaded.
Remove dogbones and shock.
Replace with new dogbones and shock.
Use supplied spacers and top bolt when reassembly begins.
Reassemble.
Yes, there is a little more finesse than that but overall that's the meat of it. Someone with limited mechanical aptitude and tools can perform this swap. Otherwise, even $100 at a shop would be worth it if you don't feel comfortable doing it. Your bike and your butt will thank you.

I also have a new '07 R6 shock and really need the shock spacer/bolt/dogbone kit in a bad way! If anyone here can help me out or give me dimension's to machine my own I would really appreciate it huge! I have everything to do the complete YZF rear end swap except for these last few parts. Weather is getting nice and I want to get this done asap.
Please let me know if someone can make me a kit and the cost. Thanks!

Nate would you be willing to sell just the new shock bolt and bushings? Also can you make a set of dog bones that would raise the rear end ~1 inch from stock?

I have the hardware kits but no shocks. A full kit can be produced but payment would have to be made upfront.
