mechanic offends fzr

Post by abs929cbrrr »

was over at my buddies house last night since he wanted me to work in his jetski motor (he blew the top end and bottem end was trashed) so his other buddy shows up and then that guy called his buddy a cycle mechanic.

we got to talking and i said what i had..everyone seems to envy my 929rr but when i say about the fzr is forsale he came out and said those things a roaches, good luck selling that POS.

i am really seeing by people if you have a older bike they said its a POS. i dont consider a fzr a roach...now somthing from the early to late 70's yes.

anyway i wont be going to his shop for any parts ever. :Kick bonkonhead

apparently he doesn't realize my roach would crawl up his ass and beat the hell out of him before he realizes what happened.

he must belong to the MCU........the Mechanic's Cheesedick Union.

don't let it bother you, some people just have to put others down to feel better about themselves, like HALF the guys on SBN are that way, it's very pathetic and sad. They take everything as an "argument" they have to "win".

Like 30 - 50 -year old CHILDREN.

oh well. hey, here's the idea of the "CONTRAPTION" i'm gonna build this weekend.... to lift the bike....

Haha ask him if he knows where Honda go the idea for the frame on the 929. It may not have been your FZR model but close to it..if you have the aluminum one...

I remember when I first got the bike I took it to a drag bike all krzy busas tricked out bikes , they didn't even wanna touch my bike ! But last week made me feel good when me and my bro unlaw went to a bike gatherin maybe 10,000 bikes he had 08 brand new Harley and my bike was across the street. While we're standin by his bike like a group of bikers maybe 8 of em were all around my bike grilling it hard ! One guy even got on his knees to check out my stator cover cuz I'm guessing only way to find out the make. My bro in law was like they checkn it out like they want it yet were standin next to his 20,000 dollar bike . Just felt good. Lol

these kind of people only know how to buy parts, they have no clue how a bike works or how to modify them , they are ignorant .

Hi,
well just a suggestion raise the two sides so it does not slip sideways and off crash on to the floor.

deepen the middle so nothing touches your down / mid pipes :whistle

Just got the lumber and metal braces at Home Depot. Was a slender $74. But hey I can use it on my MX bike to take off the swingarm, or whatever else I want to jack it up for and the Honda also if need be. I making it just wide enough to accommodate the wide YZ250F handlebars, but not so wide that it won't fit in that small space.

When I got home...... HEY THANKS DOUG !! The DOGBONES had arrived !!! look pretty good to me, but seem a bit thick, I guess we'll see tomorrow
Thanks George, actually, I can't do what you suggested but you helped me finally "gel" an idea I was thinking about all day. Simply how to brace the thing so it won't collapse. Well, to one side i'll have a huge metal wall, so it's not falling that direction. But i'll make collapsible braces at front and back that can swing down out of the way so I can park it there. This thing has to be all things to all bikes including parking space without dismantling it... since the space is so small. Maybe I'll even paint it black and yellow just to be a nerd.

:no

Well, my circular saw is calling me, time to make some nice noise and tick off some neighbors

Just 15 years ago the FZR was one of the best bikes on the market.......

modking is right, he's probably a dude that buys brand new bikes just to look cool and be "in" with modern technology.

ive rode new and old and in the end all you notice is the road comming at you on whatever you have i hate when people have to put others down for what they like or can afford just because they are privliged or disagree. myself i chose to accept anyone that is willing to accept me.
ones life is the way it is only because you allow it make it happen.

Tell himk about me, the man who sold his 929 cos the Fizzer was the better general-use-&-commuting machine...

Had I only been a Sunday rider, a Power-Ranger one piece leathers merchant, or a track day hooligan, then the Fireplace would've won, but the slightly longer stretch to the bars, better economy, and more predicatable (albeit far less enthralling) handling of the Fizz won it for me.

LOL!!! Tell that "mechanic" the FZR was the first bike that had ram air tubes known as F I A fresh air intake on the 87 FZR 1000/750 also had 2 other intakes in the lowers. The same bike(s) sported a delta box frame also a first. The 89 2nd gen 1000 had the first exup style system and a delta box swing-arm. These are all standard on all sport bikes today!!!!!! :swear my2cents :cop: :deal:
