520 Chain Conversion
WEll I have decided to take off my extended swingarm and go back to the stock swingarm with the 520 chain. I looked at the gearing chart and I was thinking about going to the 16 front and 44 rear combination for faster speed. My question is what sprocket combination should I use to get and feel the most torque? Also, what is the stock linkage for the fzr chain.
Re: 520 Chain Conversion
'Faster speed' is a meaning-free statement. Do you want more top end? Taller front and/or shorter rear - but you probably won't ever achieve that top speed. Better acceleration? Shorter front (within reason - min 14, preferred 15, for chain life and swingarm guard wear) and/or taller rear.

Re: 520 Chain Conversion
Im sorry for the confusion. I would like better acceleration. So exactly what front and rear combination would I need with a 520 chain.
Re: 520 Chain Conversion
15/50 for acceleration and chain life. I can sell you a nice kit if you'd like.

how much and what comes with it
Re: 520 Chain Conversion
can I use a 54 rear and a 15 front
Re: 520 Chain Conversion
You could if you wanted your top end to be about 90mph.
