yzf750 trans swap

Has anyone done or seen a yzf750 trans swap writeup? Im looking at doing this on my fzr1k and was wanting to know what all it entails. Like which crank to use and so forth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

From what I've read it is just a swap but you have to split the engine casing to do this. Look on the worldwide exup forum alot of the guys in the 1000 section have done the swap.

its fairly straight forward if your a good mechanic and have a manual. i helped my brother over the winter to swap in a 6 speed...as far as i remember the only thing else needed is the little oil sprayer thing to spray oil on the 6th gear. message my brother on here bluesbreaker45 is his name i believe im sure he would be glad to help you with any problems you may run into.
