Help on BRAKE pricing

Post by gt5094stang »

I have the chance to buy a complete set of BLUE DOT calipers for $80.......is this pretty reasonable ??? I know they are a direct bolt on but should i change the master cylinder with it or can i use my stock one?

I did check ebay and other sights and realy couldn't find the blue DOTS for sale at this time

Spend your money on SS lines. Then spend it on a R6 MC. Then, if you want your calipers to look cool, get some blue dots. ;)

Agreed

The calipers are purely a cosmetic thing. I've seen them go for cheaper than that as well. it's the master cylinder that is the upgrade. An r6/r1/yzf600 mc, radial or not would be money better spent.

Whats a good website to get ss lines from i checked ebay and the only one i see is for $40 each and you have to tell them the spec thread type and all that and I realy dont want to go through that and get the wrong part.

I am looking for a website where you can post comments and opinions about auto repair reviews and shops. I know there's one somewhere because I found it once before. But I didn't save the site and now I can't find it again.
