What is this part?

Post by ggradio »

Hi all, I need some help identifiying a part. I am missing this part on my 97' FZR 600. I looked at a parts schematic of an FZR and I could not find this part name or the part number. It's the piece that would hold my turn signals.

Thanks

This is the website I looked at. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorc ... #sch107907

It's number 19 on the 'flasher light' page.

Bikebandit part #1167762

Yamaha's nomenclature:

Thank you razor. I dont' know how I missed that. So the Yamaha part number is just the standard OEM part number? Either way thanks a lot.

Bike bandit uses their own number system-I think to keep you from googling the part number and finding a better price

And, speaking of which, you can get flushmount turn signals from Flanders:

http://www.flandersco.com/action.lasso? ... =and&-find

Halfway down the page, part numbers:

401-98240 in white

and

401-98250 in black.

I use the Ron Ayers parts fiche as it gives you a price as well as a manufacturers part number.

The Yamaha fiche site now gives MSRP, so you can check on how badly your parts guy is raping and pillaging, as well as appreciating the discount offered by the on-line guys. :deal:
