Usually the website will tell you how to set the springs up. Do you have a link?
Thanks for joining and participating in the most "active" FZR Community on the internet!
Re: Has anyone used HYPERPRO springs?
The site walks you through OEM, year, and model info, then asks you to submit a request for info. At that point they'll send you the price and product info, which would presumably include modification requirements.
It took me 3 minutes to figure this out, including the time needed to Google the main site itself.
Some of your inquiries are pertinent (even if posted on both sites simultaneously), and need someone with a little experience to answer.
Some approach bone-idleness.

I am glad you're learning; my response was ill-tempered, as my health issues have flared today, and I apologize for my tantrum.
That said, there are some items you can (obviously, given your post on this topic on the Archives) look up yourself. This research and self-education is not only far more satisfying and likely to stay with you, it's also good practice in HOW to carry out research. War story - Every day I see people asking for this info or that datum that is found in the manuals. I sat down a few weeks ago and started searching, and now have 15-20 different .pdf manuals and schematics for just about every '80s-90s FZ, FZR and YZF ever made. This is essential knowledge for the (electrical / electronics) business I'm trying to start - if I don't know how the different years and models are wired, how the heck can I design and sell something for a particular model??
Your needs are more focused, but the principal is the same. Try to figure it out on your own, checking the manual. If you need help, please post your question on one forum or the other - there are knowledgeable folks on both, and many of us (like you!) hang out in both. If the one forum gets you no joy, THEN try the other.
