89 cylinders for a 92 engine

im buying a 92 fzr 1000 project today, the only thing wrong with it are the cracked cylinders, ive found a set with pistons from an 89 and the price is right will they work?

yes, engines are the exact same with the exception that the 89-90 had an external oil cooler where as the 91+ the oil cooler was behind the oil filter.
