Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Nope. Thought about buying all the fairings for the original 97 red color scheme, can't find the side panels. I'm going to do a white with a typical Yamaha silver graphic. But I change my mind on this almost daily so the color will be finalized when I actually start painting.

Great bike!!!You have done a great job brining this one back to life. About the paint, what was they thinking in the '90 pink and purple speed bloks???? It will look great when you get the paint done.

I remember my local dealer telling me that someone was trying to get them to put Cerise/White on his YZF750 MOT certificate rather than Pink/White.

That's funny.

I'm actually digging the mix matched body work with the belly pan having rash on it and one side fairing having cracks. Reason is that nobody gives it a second look because is looks like crap.

Well done matey  looks like you've done a really good resto on it and good luck with the engine swap if it goes ahead, my own bike runs a wiseco 1070 kit , ported polished head etc and 41mm Keihins ....go 4 it when you can afford it , well worth the effort and the expense.

Once again well done i look forward to pics of it painted.....would be lovely as a Haga 41 rep

There is a yzf750 for sale not too far from. It's soooo tempting.....

Is there any magic to be had in swapping the head from say a FZR1000 while maintaing the yzf750 6spd gearbox? And what does the displacement come out to?
