Re: FZR600 :: START HERE
What's the biggest size I can run on a stock rim? (Sorry, I had to be a smart ass and ask. Not really looking for an answer just wantedd to help someone gain $10.)
I didn't do it. Wait that? Yeah I did that. IT WAS FUN TOO!
Re: FZR600 :: START HERE

What about.
DO not say you have power to your TCI or Coils, Please state the DC voltage and on which wires (their color), using a Volt meter. A test light is useless in these circumstances.
EDIT: The wiki version, thanks Geo

TCI/CDI faulty maybe? :-
Please inform us on the Forum what voltage is on what wire to the TCI/CDI. Please note:- test lights do not work in this area for REAL Diagnostics only a VOLTMETER will work and help us to help you.

What about:
Is my clutch push rod snapped? (a common question on both forums)
How do I align the clutch pressure plate?
pictures/photos paint a thousand words.
The pushrod as it should look
Clutch Alignment
I also have the excellent wiring diagram (By NaeSLaS, in the WIKI) which has proved invaluable in my research. Without that I would be
I've amended it, for my own personal reasons, Removed all the wires (lights, horn, blinkers E.TC.) not associated to the ignition/fuel systems, added the main relay schematics. Then I studied that. Can/Could I share that? Copyrights and respect to NaeSLaS and his excellent work considered? I duno.
I do know the amended diagram helped me vastly, in understanding the safety cut out relay and why the fuel pump may not work if the TCI is fried.
Both relays (housed in the main relay) are powered VIA the Ignition fuse/Run stop switch. The safety cut out relay is grounded VIA the neutral switch and or the clutch switch, the fuel pump relay is grounded VIA the TCI (which does control when the fuel pump primes).
I have other ideas to help members new and old, especially concerning electrical/ignition issues, but I need to work on those. It will take a lot of time and effort.
