My FZR600R Foxeye Restoration

In the states, this was the upgrade to the FZR600. In other places, this is called an FZR. Either way, many of the components of the US YZF600r fit onto the US FZR600.

have now replaced all the front brakes now have wavey discs R6 calipers and master cylinder and an R6 clutch lever (so i can add adjustable titax levers later)
the bike has been transformed even though the pads are not full bedded in the braking performance is amazing :banana:

and i had a quick go at covering the seats (just a temp job) and think i will stick to the black seats

have sprayed the tail unit with white primer and added a seat pad,

then my mate popped round with some leatheret for the seat so i did the recovering of my ripped seat unit looks ace

YG no probs once its finished (painted) should be able to make a mold no problem

thanks, I dont want to spoil the bike but i am upgrading where appropriate going to have to keep it until :notworthy: SWMBO allows me to get an R1 (could be a long wait)

quick update found out that the bike is setup for 97RON fuel not 95 which i have been putting in now runs really well starting to see the claimed 98hp on the horizon

finished recovering the seats now looks good

and i also covered the chain guard in carbon fiber just have to do the hugger now will cost about £30 for the cloth and resin as a guess as the chain guard cost about £15 for materials.

unfortunately whole restoration is on hold as havin domestic issues so next update prob wont be for a month or two, at least i wont have to sell the bike though

sell the wife keep the bike, wives argue, bikes do not & you get to ride it when you want J/K

bike staying V LUCKY, had a ride out on one of the bad days, man you just cant buy therapy like that!!! LOL ended up at a hotrod meet with lots of girls in undies, man if there is a god he's got my back
