Since we're talking about pants. Do you guys have regular pants or overpants for wearing over jeans?

Here's the secret to end all secrets: (and it shouldn't be kept a secret!) GET YOUR GEAR FIRST, BEFORE purchasing a motorcycle. That way you can't say you don't have enough money. This worked for me back in 1996 and it still applies today.

Personally I like my Teknic pants, they have a zipper at the calf so fit the lower leg nice and snug, the boots slip right over. There are some people who wear the over the boot type, nothing wrong with that I guess. But if you pay all that money and ride a sport bike, why not look like a pro while you're at it? And since you can get good leather pants for $180(sale) to $300 why not save up and do it? Even "reinforced" jeans are going for $100, so the leather seems like a pretty good deal to me for 20 times the protection. (you can guess where I pulled that number from, but who cares)
