Fresh New Look For The 94 Fizzer 1K (56k - UFFDA)

Post by myimpala88 »

I thought I would post a couple photos of my bike after having my way with it and adding a little bit of originality. Comments positive or negative are welcome!

How can there be negative comments'?

The bike looks great. How are you liking the D&D exhaust? Loud enough for ya? ;)

Someone just might not like it as much as me. I liked the D&D exhaust until about last fall when it wasn't just loud, it was/is LOUD. Most of the packing is out of it now so it's basically a raspy straight pipe. I'd like to try to repack it at some point to tone it down a bit. Loud pipes save lives. :grinnod:

I didn't mind the color/graphics sceme at first but I was itching to buy a new bike this spring but decided I couldn't afford one so I just made this one a new bike basically. Along with the new look I also got a new chain and sprockets. I upped two teeth in the back and dropped one in the front. Now it is basically a new bike.

Your bike looks fantastic! Very well done. I'd be proud to own that.

Is the 1k not decent at low RPMs??

Looks good. Gives me hope for mine.

I think they are great at low end. The power is quite usable. He just wanted thing to be more spirited I would say.

The looks are 10 times better than before...With that gearing it will be a exiting ride. I went 1 tooth of the front and + one on the rear on my 1k. I can't wait to try it

I had no problem with the low end. I just wanted to wake it up a bit. It's snappier even at higher speeds still though. 60 to 80 in third gear goes pretty fast.

It's a pretty good rush now. I like the low end it gave me. It feels like a new bike. It's still a heavy beast though lol.

I've been searching for +2 in the rear and can't find anything. What sprockets(diff year/model bikes) fit on the exup's? I'd like to go to a -1+2 setup as well

BTW. Loving it after the paint. I didnt like the purple they threw on it. Are you going to add neon's and some rim tape?

P.S nice exhaust =)

No neons. I am thinking about some rim tape though.

Oh it's a lot nicer now. I just repacked it this weekend and it sounds a lot nicer. The old packing was starting to sound really raspy and nasty. Plus I had like no back pressure so I was losing some power too.
