I found this picture, does anyone know what he is doing for a tail light, or if their are anymore pictures of the progress on this tail, I'm about to cut mine up like this but need a lil more info, thanks!

i cant remmeber what light was used iv seen people use a led trailer light
ones life is the way it is only because you allow it make it happen.

I want to say that's a very old pic of Billy Awesome's bike and he had an r6 light on there. Not 100% sure though

hehe, I like the overflow bottle as well, but really their are so many different things you could use for an overflow bottle, good catch, but yes as soon as i get my bike back from my mechanic my tail will cut up.... if it dosnt work out as well as his did ill probably end up getting the R1 tail from airtech. thanks! p.s. if anyone has anymore pics of this creation or similar ones please post'em :headbang:

heres a pic of mine. i just did it today so i havnt moved the license plate up or cleaned the wiring yet

well i did it... tail is cut down, custom stainless steel overflow bottle, tail light of my choice was a CBR F4i tail light. and now it looks stock and newer. :cheers:
ill post pics soon... only had to fab a few brackets.

Didn't burn the paint or plastic at all? What type of bit?

BTW - it looks freakin' sweet. One of the best I've seen.
