i still have to make a bushing for the rod ends i thought it was going to come with jaam nuts but it was a different seller. it shouldent losen up they are tight in both ends and they are both right hand thread but i agree better safe than sorry

got alittle more done made a bracket for the seat, got the 03 05 seat trimmed and mounted, got the tail mounted and a custom under tail cut from alluminum. r6 header came so gotta fit that in. the 14 tooth front sprocket seemed like it would hit the rearset mount like the yzf swinger swap so i got a 16 tooth and im gonna get a bigger one for the rear to try to get the chain by. i might have to raise it up a bit also. i should have waited to paint the frame cause iv been scratching it a bit gotta touch it up later. and polish the under tail. im still tring to find a different collor to use with the black i like the candy blue on thatkids parts what do you think.

well i couldent help myself i had to put the engine in, ill figure out how to get it out later. im gonna need to get a new chain and sprockets first i dont think the chain is gonna be long enough then the 530 front sprocket dosent fit in the chain it does for a few links then rides upso im just gonna go with a 520 setup i wish i had known i would have cut the chain off awhile ago instead of messing with it. well atleast now i can continue i guess wiring is gonna be next. im not sure where im gonna put the vr i might put it in the battery tray with a fan on it like a cpu or something.

back looks a big low, what dog bones you using?

the back does look alittle low i was thinking the same thing but if i raise it its gonna start tipping more cause of the kickstand, i would like another inch or so. the dog bone is just 2 rod ends or heim joints with a threaded rod cut to the lengh that seems to work best, its rated to hold over 8000 lbs so it should be good.i figured if im starting from scratch i might as well use the yzf engine.

when I raised my rear it tipped more, then I lowered my front 1" to compensate. but the inverted R1 forks are allready shorter than fzr forks so its actuallu lowered alot more.
what rearsets are those?

they are gsxr 1000 i think 05 they were an adjustable set i got off ebay. they fit with some work the mount to the frame was real close i just ground the bottom hole maybe a 16th of an in. but the brake side the lever was to close to the frame so the engine bracket wouldent fit but i had some 3/8 spacers frome somthing else i was doing that i spaced it off with. they were only 100 bucks

anyone have a 97+ yzf600r wireing diagram i whould have thought the connector plugs would have been all different and only go one way but half of them are interchangable and difficult to place also i have extra connectors and have to find items for them

it took a while to settle on this one after the yzf swinger i couldent stop thinking about the 03 05 swingarm. it was spyders for sale pics that made me think about it

well that sucked the tail being so low was bothering me so i took it back off removed the bracket i made trimed the battery tray some more which i had to take back out to do, so i could get it up alittle higher in the rear, cut off more of the subframe then remount the tail to get more of an angle it looks much better now
