Why is it that a r6 fender is not a r6 fender??

Why is it that a r6 fender is not a r6 fender??

Why is it, this is what I find when I look for a r6 fender????

But when I pull it up on Bike Bandit this is what it is???? and suppose to be??

Am I missing something????

Hmm the picture your showing looks like a 2 piece system like the fzr's have. Different years maybe? IDK

The 99 & 00 model fender was different from the 01 & 02. But I don't think it was that different. Person you got it from may have may have been mistaken about the bike it was from. Look for the part number on the item and check it that way.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

that might be. Alot of confused people on ebay then. I have the right one, I got it from someone here. I was just looking for a second one so I can make the cutiing on it prettier.

Ok, 99-00 used the one in the parts fiche. The 01-02 uses the one in the pic you have.

The 01-02 brake light mounts in the plastic tail and the 99-00 tail light mounts in the battery tray.

Don't forget that the two series also use different sized batteries. The 01-02 uses a smaller battery than the 99-00. I found out the hard way. :(
