The SpeedChannel has AMA Superbike on tonight from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

I don't really get to keep up with motorcycle racing but I do watch when I can.

Now that is funny :-}
I saw most of the race high lights on TV not the actual coverage as a the track is some 37 miles long and anything up to 6 laps.

Watching Kneelers (racing sidecars) is awesome and NO WAY would you catch me on one at any speed lat alone 160 ish.

The new camera's with high def & super slow mo allowed us to watch some very bumpy sections being ridden at ridiculous speeds jeeze I thought back in the day that 106 average was good now it is 131 !!!

When you have actually ridden that race and now you watch it what 30-40 years later the guys really are not that much younger than I was at the time but the technology has gotten them 25% faster.

Well, I just got to watch the 250 GP race in Spain and I'm starting to watch the GP race on the same track.

Still haven't seen any coverage of Isle.

I´ve seen the GP race from Spain this weekend. Towards the end of the race i was shouting and jumping etc.. Last 4 laps was some of the best race action I´ve seen in a long time.

The GP race is Spain was awesome. That finish was the best. Rossi passed Lorenzo on the last turn of the last lap. And, they traded positions several times the last few laps.

Looks like the finish at this race with the top three was exactly the opposite of the finish in the race in Italy. In Italy it was Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi. This time it was Rossi, Lorenzo and then Stoner. So the Italian rider beat the Spanish rider in Spain and the Spanish rider beat the Italian in Italy.

And, it looks like Stoner, Rossi and Lorenzo are all three tied for number one in points. This GP racing is fun to watch. :headbang:

I must admit there was a time when GP was boring & some what repetetive but this season is harking back to the days of Roberts & Sheene, Mamola & co.

Which Moto GP's 250 or full blown.
I know next year there is anew set of rules for MotoGP been watching the row going on various lists of bike designer & builders who have bikes damned near ready for entry only to find the class has gone. Mind you i watched the No emission TT race and they were doing 100+ mph average speeds was weird to watch as you hear nothing how the hell you are supposed to know who is sneaking up on you (no mirrors allowed) i do not know .

he raced the royal london 360 superstock class and dianese superbike tt -- both 1000cc class. he normally races yamaha r1 and sometimes r6. but he ended up racing kawasaki's at the tt with minimal seat time. basically, the promoters at the tt told him it takes 3 years of racing the course to become familiar and think about being competitive. his original bike sponsors pulled their bikes about 10 days from the event, leaving him high and dry. someone with a kawi hook up was nice enough to help a man fulfill a dream...
