best mirrors ?

Re: best mirrors ?
The problem with the stock mirrors are they don't allow you to see behind you because they are so small. Other than that, the Mickey Mouse ears are fine.
I'm using these - Signal Mirrors
Geo, the only problem is they are LED lights and you have to drill a hole through the fairing and birdcage to run the wires. They also vibrate pretty good, but not too bad.

Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.
Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....
I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

Same thing. I do believe the EMGOs are OEM... not 100% on that though.tampaFZR600 wrote: The stock YZF600r mirrors will do well though right?? Pretty much like the emgo's??? thanks

Re: best mirrors ?
Yes, they work, but they shake so bad, that above 30 mph, they're worthless. I gave mine away.

Re: best mirrors ?
Thanks. I'll probably just go with the YZF mirrors. I don't think I can handle another mile of the stockers.

Re: best mirrors ?
anybody worried about vibration you can make your own rubber dampner, it's easy and everything you need is at your local hardware
longer screws?, rubber
you can probably even use some type of gel and custom form your own or just cut up a gel shoe insert
there are lots of options

Re: best mirrors ?
Are the YZF EMGO mirrors wider?
My main issue with my '91 FZR600 mirrors is that I can't see around my shoulders. I have an ok view of the sides, but nothing behind me, or near behind me.
The rubber boots on the stock mirrors are pooched, too... so i need to replace those, if not more.
