It will take some time to get used to and feel comfortable

First there's the part of re-training your brain but overall I find that when you have the reverse pattern down shifting becomes easier and quicker

Unless you do regular track days, I cant see the point! (unless you have big feet and they get in the way mid corner!!)
It looks fast! is it

I have thought about it, I will probably switch if I can get China Steve to make up a set of custom rearsets! (HINT, HINT)

Yes I am making them so get on the list. Send me a PM either here or the Archives site. I have a therad in my section

As far as GP shifting.

I tried it here a bit ago and I liked it a lot. When leaned over at max andgle and just coming out of a corner that requires shifting while at a lean angle like coming out of a tight corner its much easier to click down than get the toe under and shift up.

It did not take much to get used to shifting the other way. But when it came race time the bike was set up for regualr and I left it that way. I had enough to think about. I want to practice at high speed for a bit before I do it in a full on race. But yes I liek it.

I will make my Hybrid 400/YZF GP shifting and force myself to use it. I know its better on the track. especially the high number of corners on my home track.
