I have been searching craigslist every day mostly all evening when I get home from school and I spotted it and was the first to reply. Paid $300 bucks for it and it has a rear cylinder problem. Could be piston/rings or valve problem. Anyways, putting it on the lift sunday to pull the motor and check the rear cylinder.
Ill post more pics when I get it off the trailer.

I agree. Patients is everything. When I did the tail swap(FZR) I didnt completely finish putting the bracket in the back under the seat to carry my wife along and she has been pissed off at me ever since so I told her the 1st good deal that came along even if it meant a project bike I was going to grab it. She didnt complain at all when I showed it to her on craigslist. We now have a cruiser for the both of us.
Im pretty excited about it. Cant wait to get it tore down.

Thanks every one for the complimets. I have been searching and searching craigslist every day for hours on end to find the best deal and I found it. Sunday I will get it on the lift and pull the engine. I started it up last night and it seems like its coming from the rear cylinder.....valves, piston/rings. Will keep you posted and I will take pics. This will be my first V-Twin I have ever worked on. Maybe a few questions for the board.
I plan on keeping it for the wife and I to ride on the weekends to get away from the kids!

Ive done a lot of wheelin and dealin in my local craigslist but it seems like everything I buy I have to travel 60 miles to get it. Whatever I sell, is local. I hate it.
Tore into the cruiser and now I know why I dont like them. Im trying to pull the engine and OMG there is no damn room. I have just about everything disconnected and hopefully will be out this week to determine whats wrong with it. I hate V-Twins! Will post pics of the shop this week.
Haha, they are just like trying to work on most V6/V8 Asian vehicles, no room at all. Basically have to pull the engine to change the plugs.
Anyone ever work on a late 90's early 00's Camaro SS, no room!

It really sucks! Im almost to the point of getting it out of the frame. I need to bring a big freakin screw driver home from work tomorrow so I can pry it out and over the frame. Its also driveshaft driven and the driveshaft is part of the damn swingarm.
