Start at about 34psi front, 36psi rear and go from there.

Look at the rise in pressure from cold to hot...

The front should rise about 10% (from 34psi cold to 37.5psi hot {3.4+34=37.5} )

Rear should rise 12-15%..so from 36psi cold, it should rise to 40.3psi-41.4psi (4.3-5.4+36= 40.3-45.4)

This was the formula we were told to run radials by the Dunlop and Michelin tire techs back when I saw the track a lot. It's the rule I have always gone by..you get the longest wear, with the best grip in my experience.

The pressure on the tire is "maximum Inflation"...for the highest weight load. If you run a tire at max pressure and relatively unloaded you will not get the tire up to temp....except for the strip down the middle...and that will wear too fast. And you contact patch will be smaller than it needs to be.

36psi cold front and rear for "normal" riding
36psi cold front 42psi cold for high speed riding

Click here for the manual the info is on page 10.

Wow...
There is no magic number.
It will be different for different tires and riders. I run about 32/33 on my 95. I have BT014's on it. My 06 R1 has Corsa III's on it and it runs 33/33. My DRZ400sm has Doablo Corsa Pro's on it and runs 24/21
The things that will determine how much pressure to run are
Ambiant temps
Bike and rider weight
Style of riding
Tire make and model
Suspension settings

Lots of stuff affects tire pressures. It's not a cut and dried thing.
