brake light issue

So My brake light does not come on on the front brake lever but does function on the rear brake pedal. I imagine it is something simple and stupid, obviously I am new to these bikes but I would venture to say that there is a switch in the handle that is broke or something. Thanks for the help.

there should be a 2 prong connection on the front brake master cylinder, it probably just came loose and fell off and is dangling

That looks to be the problem there is a green with white strip and a brown with white stripe. It looks like the green one slipped out of the prong that holds it on so I need to go get a new connector from advanced tomorrow it looks like.
